Cara Alizadeh-Fard (they/them) is an independent curator and arts worker based out of their hometown of Oklahoma City. Having the privilege of being exposed to art and history from a young age through their mother and grandmother, their career has since taken them to various museums and cultural institutions-from the Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art to the First Americans Museum. They believe in the capacity of art to act as a catalyst for change and value the political and social power of art, particularly on marginalized communities
